Gardai at Mayorstone are investigating the robbery

GARDAI in Limerick are investigating a robbery at an off-licence in the city in which two masked men made off with a sum of cash.

The robbery occurred at Fine Wines on the Corbally Road last Wednesday, March 28 at 7.30pm, gardai said.

“Two males entered Fine Wines off licence on the Corbally Road. They both had their faces covered and they demanded the cash from the till.

“They got the cash and made off in a silver two door Opel Corsa. This is a busy area of Limerick and gardai are asking any witnesses to please come forward with any information they may have,” added the spokesperson.
