Limerick creche evacuated as fire breaks out

A LIMERICK creche has been evacuated following a fire this Tuesday lunchtime.

Three units of the Limerick Fire and Rescue Service are dealing with the incident at the Wilmot Childcare facility in Annacotty.

It is understood that no-one has been harmed, but staff and youngsters using the facility are unable to access the complex.

The alarm was raised just after 11am this morning.
