HYPNOTIST and mentalist Keith Barry has offered to be a witness at a couple's wedding in a Limerick registry office.

The offer comes on foot of a national call-out for help for a couple who are getting married this Friday, but had not told their family and were seeking witnesses to join them so the nuptials can go ahead.

The couple sent the Ray D'Arcy Show on RTÉ Radio 1 an email earlier this week asking for help after the witnesses they had lined up were unable to attend.

Listening in was Keith Barry, who happens to be in Limerick this Friday and offered to attend the registry office at St Camillus Hospital.

“I'm in Limerick tomorrow, I've a mad schedule - but if I can do it, I will. If I can do it, I will turn up and I will be a part of the ceremony tomorrow,” Keith said.

The call-out for help on the D'Arcy Show has also turned up two potential witnesses – Karen and Jim – after the call-out received a “great response”.
