Man killed in county Limerick road accident

A MAN has lost his life following a collision in county Limerick this Wednesday evening.

The 53 year old man was killed in the collision on Main Street in Kilmallock.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Inspector Luke Conlon of Bruff Garda Station said it was a "tragic accident". 

Ambulance and gardai attended the scene of the accident at around 5pm on Wednesday.

A post mortem is due to be carried out.
