The death has occurred of Josephine (Birdie) Murphy (née Conway), of McDonagh Avenue, Janesboro, Limerick, on 3rd November 2016, peacefully at Limerick University Hospital.

Beloved wife of the late Andy. Deeply regretted by her step-sons Andrew and Gerard, daughters-in-law Clare and Sonya, niece Frances McKeith, extended family and friends.

Requiem Mass on Saturday at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Janesboro at 9.30am with burial afterwards in Mt St Oliver Cemetery.


The death has occurred of Bridget Nolan (née Neville), of Morgans South, Askeaton, Limerick, on November 2, 2016, peacefully, at University Hospital, Limerick.

Beloved wife of the late Jimmy; sadly missed by her loving son Mike, daughter Annette, sisters, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Downey's Funeral Home, Pallaskenry tomorrow, Friday, from 6pm to 8pm followed by removal to Robertstown Church. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Reilig Mhuire, Askeaton.

Mother of the late David and William. Deeply regretted by husband Gerard, son Michael, daughters Marian, Sandra, Geraldine and Elizabeth, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters Nancy Daly, Carmel Sheehan, brothers Pa Hickey and Mikey Hickey, nieces, nephews, sons-in-law, and all other relatives and friends.

Reposing at Cross' Funeral Home on Sunday from 5.30pm, followed by removal at 7pm to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church. Requiem Mass on Monday at 11am. Burial afterwards at Mount St. Oliver Cemetery.


The death has occurred of John (Johnny) Cussen, 'Ard Aoibhin', Mount Plummer, Broadford, Limerick, peacefully at his residence.

Husband of the late Nora Jones, loving father of Laurence, Ann, Aileen and Philip. Sadly missed by his sons, daughters, son-in-law Ian, daughters-in-law Julie and Ann, grandchildren Kira, Luke, Isabella, Daniel-John, Grace, Fionn and Fia, brother Laurence and sister Mary Savage, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
