VIPs set for style bonanza in Limerick

THE CRESCENT Shopping Centre in Limerick will play host to three jam-packed days of fashion later this month, featuring special guests from the worlds of style and sport.

Crescent Inspire will kick off on Thursday, October 20, and run until Saturday, October 22, and promises to be an enjoyable weekend of businesswear advice, health and lifestyle tips and autumn/winter trend workshops. 

Special guests will include entrepreneur, broadcaster and fashion designer Sonya Lennon, olympian and former world champion Derval O’Rourke, and fashion influencer Yvonne Connolly.

Sonya Lennon will be giving advice on Thursday, October 20 from 6pm to 9pm, followed by a business wear fashion show featuring some key pieces from Crescent retailers.

“It will address how to get the corporate look down to a fine tee, how your work output benefits from how you feel in what you wear, and tips on back to work after long absence or Mum’s parental leave,” said Sonya.

Athlete Derval O’Rourke will be giving health tips “on nutrition, training, and getting the most from your workout” on Friday, October 21, at 12 noon.

The autumn/winter trends showcase on Saturday, October 22 with Yvonne Connolly will cover tips for styling your wardrobe for the colder months.

Celia Holman Lee and models from the Holman Lee Agency will be bringing the trends to the catwalks, with fashion shows also taking place over the three days.

There will also be a range of beauty and hair demonstrations over the course of the weekend.
