A MAJOR fashion show featuring the very best of local fashion will be hosted by Old Crescent RFC in association with the Mid Western Cancer Foundation.

Old Crescent RFC is currently riding high at the top of its division in the Ulster Bank League and has ambitious plans to develop its facilities at Rosbrien.

The club recently purchased additional land adjoining the club grounds which will effectively double the size of the club grounds and secure rugby at Rosbrien for club members and the wider rugby community for future generations.

The rugby club is teaming up with the Mid Western Cancer Foundation for the fashion show which will take place in the Strand Hotel Limerick on February 25.

Proceeds from the event will go towards raising funds for the cancer charity and for the development of the rugby club.

The fashion extravaganza will be presented by the Hilary Thompson Model Agency and will feature designs from a range of local boutiques across the city and county.

A door prize will be sponsored by Keane’s Jewellers Limerick. Tickets priced at €30 each are available from fashion event committee members, Peter Doyle, 086 3861054, Ita Barrett, Martina McDermott, Dee Cunningham, Yvonne O’Riordan, Liam Keehan, and Liam Noonan at the clubhouse.
