Seeing Hannah Montana was her inspiration, she loved everything about the show and the life of a singer.

“I was obsessed with Hannah Montana, I got a blonde wig like her and everything. My Nan has pictures of me with microphones singing songs or playing on a karaoke machine,” she fondly recalls.

Stacey's unusual and captivating voice has been likened to the Canadian singer Tate McRae.

“I do have an unusual voice. It's unique and that's definitely my super power. I can write the same songs as everyone else, but to have something different - it helps,” Stacey says.

Speaking about how she writes material, Stacey says that she knows it's not the conventional way.

“I bring up a beat and then literally just have the song written in about half an hour,” she says.

Her first three releases were well received, getting air play on BBC and 2FM, but then Covid hit and she took a break for a few years.

Stacey is now relaunching her career with a new single Dizzy, which will be released on Spotify, Apple, Amazon and all major streaming platforms today (January 4).

She then plans on releasing a song every month for the next year.
