Threads of nature and memory weave through Limerick exhibition

Shannon Estuary inspires Anna's first solo exhibition

PICTURE | Inspired by the natural textures and changing light of the Shannon Estuary, Anna Hutchinson's art is guided by connection and feeling

CONTEMPORARY textile and fibre artist Anna Hutchinson will present her first solo exhibition this summer.

The event will take place at Ebzery’s Boutique Café & Tea Rooms, which promises to provide a welcoming and unique event space in the heart of Foynes, Limerick.

The exhibition opens with a public reception on July 18, 6–9pm, and runs until August 5.

Anna’s work explores the colours and movements of sky and water, the rhythm of stitching echoing the shifts and flows in the natural world.

Inspired by the natural textures and changing light of the Shannon Estuary, her pieces evolve through an intuitive process, guided more by connection and feeling than by plan.

Anna explains that, “This work comes from my connection to place, memory, and the emotional pull of the horizon. I hope visitors will find moments of recognition or wonder in the threads and textures.”

The works are available for purchase, and the event is free entry for all.
