Limerick's rainbow crossings set to get a fresh lick of paint

THE RAINBOW road crossings near the council offices and in Dooradoyle are to get a fresh lick of paint in time for Pride this month.

It comes after Cllr Shane Hickey-O’Mara, Social Democrats, held talks with Active Travel.

The move was welcomed by both the northside councillor and metropolitan district leader Cllr Daniel Butler.

He said: “It sends out a clear message we are an inclusive city.”
