FIANNA Fail has finalised its general election ticket for Limerick City.
Former Limerick Chamber chief executive Dee Ryan was been selected to run alongside Willie O'Dea at a party convention held in the city centre.
Ms Ryan ran for the party in the contest to elect the first ever executive mayor of Limerick, and was the last party candidate standing, finishing third behind winner John Moran and Helen O'Donnell.
It will be her first time running in a general election, while former Defence Minister Mr O'Dea will be bidding to secure a 12th straight election to Dail Eireann having first been returned back in February 1982.

The selection convention comes as rumours of a late autumn election continue to swirl.
