LIMERICK secured a first win of their Allianz Hurling League Division 1A campaign after securing a deserved 1-26 to 2-16 victory over Kilkenny at the TUS Gaelic Grounds on Sunday afternoon.
An official attendance of 8,958 supporters turned out in spring-like conditions as the Shannonsiders bounced back from their opening weekend defeat to Waterford to claim the two precious league points on offer.
Na Pairsaigh's Peter Casey scooped the TG4 Man of the Match accolade after helping himself to an impressive five points from play.

A spectacular goal from Patrickswell's Aaron Gillane in the 57th minute helped the home side into a significant six-point lead and helped turn the contest in Limerick's favour.
Limerick had led Kilkenny 0-14 to 1-9 at half-time.
