Speaking at the finish line, race director Sliabh Wells said: “I’d like to thank everyone that has made this year’s event such a resounding success. To all our sponsors and event partners for their unwavering support in making the event a success.
"To all of the volunteers, staff, suppliers, gardai, medical teams, entertainers, and spectators who came out today to make it all happen.
"We’d like to thank the people of Limerick for welcoming this event year after year, and for making it become one of the largest running events in the country. We’ve had record participation again this year and it is testament to the quality of this amazing event.’’
