A NEW supermarket has opened in Moyross estate on Limerick's northside this Thursday morning.
The ribbon has been cut at Tesco Ireland's newest city branch in the Watch House Cross estate.
The British retailer replaces Iceland, which closed its outlet in the area last September.
It will operate seven days a week until 10pm each night.
Tesco Ireland already has local branches at Arthur's Quay in the city centre, the Crescent Shopping Centre in Dooradoyle, the Roxboro Shopping Centre, Coonagh Cross and at Shannon Banks and Newcastle West.
