Thatched roofs are a prominent feature in Adare village
DESIGNERS have given a website which promotes tourism and business in Adare an upgrade to mark its 22nd anniversary.
Newcastle West-based design agency AOS Marketing has been engaged in redesigning adarevillage.com ahead of the busy summer tourism season
The new look site has many new features, including, notably, a dedicated platform for the 2027 Ryder Cup, which is set to take place in Adare Manor.
The site owners have pledged to carry up-to-the-minute information on the golf course at the five-star resort.
As part of this, there will be interviews with Alan MacDonnell, its golf course superintendent, Adare Manor’s general manager Brendan O’Connor and others.
And in a new section on the website, there will be information for people who hope to tie the knot in the village.
Administrator Brendan Doran said: “The website will carry profiles of our local movers and shakers, people who through their hard work and dedication have enhanced all the positive aspects of our village. The website is considered to be Adare’s most important tourism initiative, and it is solely funded by subscriptions from businesses listed on the website, who wish to lend their support to promoting Adare as one of Ireland’s leading tourist destinations.”

The prime function of adarevillage.com is to attract visitors to Adare and in doing so provide them with information on available accommodation, including hotels.
It provides visitors with information on where to wine, dine and shop; information on Adare’s historic sites and buildings, walking tours in the region, and of course, golf.
There’s also a dedicated section focused on transport and amenities.
