GARDAÍ are investigating after over €1,000 worth of tools were stolen from an industrial estate in Limerick.
On Thursday, March 28 a man in his 40s was working in Clondrinagh Industrial Estate on the Ennis Road.
He left his tools down while he had a short break. In that time his tools worth over €1,000 were stolen.
Sergeant Ber Leetch, crime prevention officer at Henry Street garda station said tools and gardening equipment are always in demand by criminals.

"Unfortunately these items are easy to sell on. Now that we are in spring gardening tools are in great demand and the criminal knows this. Never leave your equipment out in the garden unattended, even for a short time.
"Bring them into your garage or shed and secure them. Construction tools are also easy for a criminal to pick up.
"Consider property marking your tools with your EIRCODE, when using them keep them with you as much as possible. Use good quality security products to protect your tools when not in use."
