This detached, multiple bay two-storey house built in 1760 with spectacular river views has gone up for €595,000.

The property is described as being "full of character and charm" and is a four-bedroom, three-bathroom house located on Clancy's Strand, Ennis Road, Limerick. It is on sale on Daft.ie.

The house, named Roseville, has a dining room on the ground floor which was formally used to store longboats  into the Shannon river. The property was later converted in around 1920 to a family house.

The property sits on a 0.23 acre site with original high rubble stone wall. It was designed by the French architect who designed the Hunt Museum.
