Garryspillane GAA Club held a night of celebration after the club won both the Limerick Premier Intermediate Hurling and Limerick U20 ‘A’ hurling championships in 2025.
The celebration night took place at the Woodlands House Hotel in Adare on Saturday evening last. Garryspillane were crowned Lyons of Limerick County Premier Intermediate hurling champions after they defeated Effin 3-0 in a dramatic penalty shoot-out at the TÚS Gaelic Grounds last October.
After a thrilling final, the sides were level, 4-19 to 2-25, after extra-time. The South Limerick rivals were also deadlocked at 2-14 each after normal time. The Bouncers return to senior hurling ranks in 2026 after suffering relegation from the senior grade in 2023.
Meanwhile, Garryspillane's U20 claimed the Limerick U20 ‘A’ hurling title in November, defeating Naomh Eoin-Cnoc Gaels 2-16 to 1-12 in the final in Kilmallock
