Hundreds left without power in Limerick  due to Storm Babet

ESB staff are working to repair the faults

HUNDREDS of people have been left without power in County Limerick this Wednesday morning.

There are a total of seven separate outages located in the Doon area, according to the ESB PowerCheck Map. There are around 700 customers currently without electricity.

In some cases the faults occurred at 3am and in other around 7.30am. The estimated restore times range from 10.30am to 11.30am.

Limerick remains under a status yellow weather warning until 1pm due to Storm Babet.

ESB apologises for the loss of supply.

"We are currently working to repair faults and will restore power as quickly as possible," said a spokesperson.
