A FORTUNATE player from Limerick woke up to unexpected riches this Saturday, winning a substantial €1 million prize in the EuroMillions 'Ireland Only Raffle' draw.
The winning ticket was purhased online, with the raffle code I-PPB-77670, and was picked during this Friday's EuroMillions draw.
This win makes the Treaty player the 26th new millionaire this year through National Lottery games.
On the same night, another player from Kildare secured the EuroMillions Plus top prize, netting a notable €500,000. The winning ticket was sold at the Applegreen service station in Milennium Park, Naas. The EuroMillions Plus draw on August 11 revealed the numbers 09, 16, 20, 33, and 49.
