A COFFEE truck owner in Limerick has appealed for witnesses after damage to her vehicle has forced a temporary closure of the business.
The 8020 Food Company's coffee trailer at the Greenway in Ardagh was broken into between 6pm and 10:30pm on Sunday, July 2.
The cash box was stolen and the door was damaged during the incident. The trailer is now temporarily closed as repairs are carried out.
Melanie Kavanagh, owner of the company, told Limerick Live that three boys were seen running from the trailer in the direction of Newcastle West.
Gardai in Newcastle West confirmed that they are investigating the incident and anyone with information can contact the garda station.
The trailer was due to celebrate its first anniversary of business next week with the company set to open a new shop in Patrickswell soon.
