Young woman has bankcard stolen from student accommodation in Limerick

A YOUNG woman had her bankcard stolen from her student accommodation at the University of Limerick. 

The woman was in her accommodation on Thursday, March 16 when a young male entered the apartment and left with her bankcard.

A number of transactions were made on the card up to the value of almost €500 euro before the card was cancelled.

The male has been captured on CCTV using the card and Garda investigations continue.
