A THEIF failed to gain access to a Limerick house after causing "significant" damage to the front door of the home.
The person attempted to break into the house in Clooneyclohessy, Shanagolden on Wednesday, March 1 between 9am and 3:30pm.
The thief caused significant damage to the front door however, they failed to get into the house.
Gardai at Newcastle West are investigating. They are asking for anyone with information or who saw anything of note between 9am and 3:30pm at Clooneyclohessy, Shanagolden on March 1 to contact them.
