Pádraig Harrington will become the third Irish golfer to be inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame thanks to the 51-year-old's success in golf.
The 2021 Ryder Cup captain has triumphed in three major tournaments during his professional career - winning The Open Championship in 2007 before retaining the title in 2008 while also claiming the PGA Championship crown during the same year.
Harrington joins Joe Carr and Christy O'Connor Snr. in being the only Irishmen to earn the prestigious accolade.
The Dubliner will be officially inducted in a ceremony in June 2024 at the US Open at Pinehurst in North Carolina.
Very humbling to be included with so many of my golfing heroes. @GolfHallofFame @ChampionsTour @PGATOUR @DPWorldTour https://t.co/ovltZSmxJt
