The Limerick U-21 hurlers got the defence of their Munster and All Ireland titles off to a winning start in Pairc ui Rinn on Tuesday night when they beat Cork by 3-19 to 2-15.
They now go forward to play Tipperary in the semi-final in Thurles in two weeks time.
