THE Limerick senior football side to face Cork in Group B of the McGrath Cup at Páirc Uí Rinn this Sunday, 2pm, has been named.

Jimmy Lee's youthful Limerick side suffered a 0-15 to 0-4 defeat to Tipperary in their opening McGrath Cup youth fixture at Mick Neville Park eight days ago.

For Sunday's trip to Leeside, the Limerick management team have selected a side which is a combination of experienced and younger players.

Limerick open their Division 3 Allianz Football League campaign in two weeks' time when travelling to Laois Hire O'Moore Park, Portlaoise to take on Laois.

The Shannonsiders earned promotion from Division 4 to Division 3 after a very successful league campaign in 2025.
