Two games down for decision this evening in Limerick Senior Football Championship

TWO games are down for decision this evening in the Limerick senior football club championship. County champions Adare face Rathkeale in a local derby on Friday evening in Askeaton at 7pm. 

Adare cruised past Fr Casey's in round one and Rathkeale suffered defeat on their return to the senior ranks against Monaleen. 

Mikey Lyons, Hugh Bourke and Shane O'Connor combined impressively scoring 1-9 for Harry Gleeson's side against Fr Casey's in round one. Rathkeale's Paul White was in impressive form scoring 0-4 against Monaleen and the intermediate county champions are strongly backboned by Limerick footballers Adam Shanagher, Andrew Meade and Barry Coleman.

2023 county champions Newcastle West and Kildimo-Pallaskenry battle it out in a top of the table clash in group two of the championship  in Sean Finn Park, Rathkeale at 7pm.

Both sides won their opening games. Kildimo-Pallaskenry's Tony McCarthy is currently sidelined through injury. Bryan Nix is yet to feature for the Magpies in either the hurling or football championship.
