The Shannonsiders’ fell to four-point defeat to Louth on Sunday in Doon a result which now means Limerick must win their last two group games if they are to progress in the All-Ireland series.

Speaking in the aftermath of his side's second round defeat, Limerick joint-manager Seán Kiely referred to the challenge that the Treaty County faces in the coming weeks .
“We've played Derry both home and away recently. The last time we played them, they were decent and they'll definitely be giving us enough of it,” he said.
“We're in a position now where we are a small bit vulnerable and we need to try and get that back in line.”
“We're going to be treating Derry with the utmost respect as we will with Sligo the week after, it's a massive two weeks ahead of us now,” Kiely added.
Kiely believes the side have the quality to make it out of the group stage.
“We have the panel, there is still massive belief there. We just have to brush this result to one side now and move on from it as quick as we can,” he said.
