LIMERICK opened their Division 3 Lidl Ladies National Football League campaign with a home fixture against Down at Mungret St Paul's GAA Club on Sunday.
Limerick are competing in Division 3 this year after earning promotion from Division 4. It was visitors Down who claimed the spoils 0-14 to 2-6 following Sunday's opening round league fixture.
Limerick return to action in Division 3 of the League with a home fixture against Wexford on Sunday next.
