THE UNIVERSITY of Limerick Sigerson Cup team are back in action this evening.
UL face Ulster University in round two of the Sigerson Cup at 7pm in the Abbottstown centre of excellence in Dublin.
The Castletroy college defeated ATU Galway 3-17 to 1-10 last Friday. St Senans Cormac Woulfe and Darragh O'Hagan of Mungret St Paul's both started in UL's victory. Darragh Heneghan and Sean McDonnell impressed scoring 2-10 in their sides victory.
University of Limerick are managed by Newcastle West’s Declan Brouder and Seanie Buckley of Dromcollogher Broadford are also part of the backroom team.
Their opponents Ulster University had a comfortable victory over ATU Sligo in round one of the Sigerson Cup. The Ulster college have Down footballer Danny Magill, Derry footballer Eoin McEvoy and Tyrone attacker Eoin McElholm within their ranks.
The winners of this clash will advance into the quarter-finals of the Sigerson Cup.
