FORMER Limerick senior football manager Billy Lee has guided Austin Stacks to the Munster intermediate football championship decider. Lee is in his second year in charge of the Tralee based outfit.
Austin Stacks defeated Kilshannig in the Munster intermediate football championship semi-final yesterday afternoon. The Kerry champions face Aherlow on December 7 in the provincial final.
Billy Lee was previously coach of the Austin Stacks senior team in 2016. The Newcastle West native was in charge of the Limerick senior footballers from 2017 until 2022. In his six years, the Treaty county claimed promotions from Division 4 up to Division 2.
Limerick reached the Munster final under Billy Lee in 2021. Billy's brother, Jimmy Lee is heading into his second year in charge of the Limerick senior footballers.
