DROMCOLLOGHER Broadford and Rathkeale have advanced directly into the Intermediate football championship semi-finals. Both sides finished top of group one and two in the IFC.
Dromcollogher Broadford came up short in last year's IFC Final and the group one table toppers will be hoping one step further than last year. Limerick senior footballer Cillian Fahy is vital for last year's intermediate finalists.
Rathkeale who are the only unbeaten team in the IFC finished top of group two after they recorded four victories and one draw. Barry Coleman who had breakthrough year for the Limerick senior footballers has impressed for his club during their IFC campaign.
The quarter-finals see the Newcastle West second team meet Claughaun, while Galbally face Gerald Griffins. Both games take place on the weekend of September 27.
Crecora Mainster, Pallasgreen, St Senan's and St Patrick's have all their IFC status for the 2025.
Glin and Castlemahon face off in the relegation final. The loser will be relegated to junior football.
