JIMMY Lee will remain in charge of the Limerick senior footballers for the 2025 season. 

Lee took over the Treaty County in 2024 and the Newcastle West man will head into his second year of his two year term in 2025. 

Jimmy Lee has made some changes to his backroom team. Micheal Cahill, Adrian O'Brien and Dylan Finn will all be part of the Limerick senior football management team. 

Micheal Cahill has previously worked with the Clare senior footballers under Micheal McDermott, Mick O'Dwyer and Colm Collins. Cahill has previously spent time in the US working in sports peroformance and sports science. The Mungret St Paul's clubman will carry out the role of head coach.

Adrian O'Brien was previously involved with the Limerick senior footballers under Billy Lee. Since then O'Brien has worked with the Tipperary senior footballers, Ballyea, St Finbarr's, Clonmel Commercials, Kilmallock and Young Munster. O'Brien will take on the role of performance co-ordinator. 

Dylan Kenny will continue in his role as strength and conditioning coach. Cahill, O'Brien and Kenny will also act as selectors. 

Limerick had a difficult spring in 2024 where they suffered seven defeats in their Division 3 league campaign. Jimmy Lee's side were relegated to Division 4. 

Lee and his side had a positve Tailteann Cup campaign where Limerick registered three victories against London, Offaly and Tipperary. Limerick were knocked out by Sligo in the quarter final of the Tailteann Cup. 

The Shannonsiders will be hoping for a positive Division 4 campaign in 2025.

Meanwhile Michael Lenihan from Mountcollins GAA will take the reigns of the U17 Limerick football team for the 2025 season. His management team include: Peter Lavin, Adare (Lead Coach), Aodhan O'Connor, Adare (Coach/Selector), John Murphy, Fr Cassey's (Coach/Selector), Bill Supple, Adare (Coach/Selector) and Davy Lyons, Adare (Coach/Selector).

Previously announced was the U20 football team will be taken over by Oola's John O'Grady. Underneath O'Grady will be Andy Lane, St Senan's (Head Coach/Selector), Ray Flaherty, St Senan's (Coach/Selector), David Divane, Dingle (Coach/Selector), Martin Hannon, Pallasgreen (Goalkeeper coach/Selector) and John Lynch, Gerald Griffin (Liason Officer).
