Jimmy Lee and his management team have named Limerick senior football team to face Sligo in the last eight of the Tailteann Cup on Saturday June 15 at 5pm in Markievicz Park.

The team is unchanged from the Limerick team that lined out in the last two games against London and Tipperary.

A win for Limerick on Saturday will see them advance to semi-finals of the Tailteann Cup on June 23 at Croke Park.

The last time the sides met was earlier this year in Division 3 of the National League where Sligo defeated Limerick 1-12 to 0-10.

Sligo have been rewarded with a home quarter-final after finishing top of their group. Limerick come into the clash on the back of  three wins and it is first Limerick have won three games in-a-row since 2020.
