CONFORMATION of Limerick's final round Tailteann Cup clash against London has been announced with the Treaty footballers facing London in Parnell Park on Saturday, June 1 at 1:30pm.
The Limerick senior footballers have put themselves in a great position to reach the knock-out stages of the Tailteann Cup, following a 2-10 to 0-08 victory over Offaly last weekend.
Limerick and London have both registered one victory in Group four, both against Offaly. Both sides have suffered heavy defeats to Down. Limerick and London currently sit level on two points. The Exiles are currently in second place in group four with a superior scoring difference -3 to Limerick's scoring difference of -6.
The four teams that finish second along with three best third-placed teams and New York will qualify for the preliminary quarter-finals. The teams that finish second will get a home preliminary quarter final and Limerick will need to beat London to get a home preliminary quarter-final.
