TWO Limerick sides will be looking to add Munster championships to the county titles won already this year when they travel to Cork this Sunday afternoon.

Limerick premier intermediate hurling champions Monaleen will take on Tipperary champions Roscrea in the Munster intermediate club hurling final at Páirc Uí Rinn on Sunday at 1pm.

Meanwhile, Limerick junior hurling champions St Kieran's will lock horns with Ballygiblin, of Cork, in the Munster junior club hurling final at Mallow at 1pm on Sunday.

Monaleen recorded a 2-13 to 0-16 Munster club semi final win over St Josephs Doora-Barefield in Kilmallock to book their place in this Sunday's provincial decider.

Monaleen had an early goal from Donnacha O'Dalaigh and a late goal from Mark O'Dwyer to help them into the Munster club IHC final. In October, Monaleen secured their return to senior ranks for 2023 when defeating Bruff in the Limerick Premier IHC final in Kilmallock on a final scoreline of 2-16 to 0-16.

St Kieran's secured their place in the Munster club junior hurling final thanks to a 0-17 to 0-16 extra-time victory over Banner, of Clare, in their semi-final at Cusack Park in Ennis.

Meanwhile, details of Limerick's 2023 Lidl Ladies National Football League fixtures have been revealed.

Limerick will compete in Division 4B of the league alongside Derry, Kilkenny, Leitrim and Wicklow. Division 4A is comprised of Antrim, Carlow, Fermanagh and London.

Limerick will begin their campaign against Kilkenny on January 22, before facing Wicklow on February 12 for their second group game. Limerick's remaining two round robin fixtures will be against Leitrim on February 19 and Derry on March 5.

The top two teams in each of the Division 4 groups will progress to the semi-finals, scheduled for Sunday March 26. The Division 4 final takes place on Sunday April 16.
