AHANE GAA club are preparing for a busy few weeks as their U15 hurling and camogie teams compete in the John West National Feile Tournaments over the next two weekends.

Bruff and St Kieran’s will also represent Limerick this weekend at Feile na nGael. Bruff in Clonlara and St Kieran’s in Toomevarra.

On Saturday, June 22 Ahane's hurling and camogie sides will travel to Halo Tiles Wexford GAA Centre of Excellence in Ferns for the 50th anniversary of the Feile Tournament.

Twenty-four club sides, comprising 500 camogie players and hurlers will compete in the Division one finals this coming Saturday. Ahane have already enjoyed success this year as their U15 Boys won the Division 1 county Feile titles in both Hurling and Football, a rare feat indeed and notable that the vast majority of players played both hurling and football.

On Saturday, June 28 it will be the turn of U15 Footballers and LGFA teams in the John West National Football Feile Tournament taking place in Roscommon.

The club has been busy fundraising since April to help with the costs associated with Feile and through the generosity of their sponsors and supporters they have also been able to make some charitable contributions to the Dillon Quirke foundation and to the Ahane, Castleconnell and Montpelier Cancer Action group. Ahane GAA would like to sincerely thank all their sponsors and supporters within the community for their huge support.
