Laurel Hill in action for a spot in All-Ireland senior C camogie final

The Laurel Hill camogie squad

LAUREL Hill will battle it out in the All-Ireland senior C camogie semi-final tomorrow, Friday, against Mercy Convent Roscommon.

The game which tips-off at 12:30pm will be held at UL North campus pitches. One of the most interesting facts about this Laurel Hill side is that it contains five sets of sisters, who all feature on the squad.

The camogie squad has had an incredible run this season beating Scoil Pól Kilfinane in the Munster semi-final by 8-06 to 2-07, before having to go to extra-time to get a one point victory over St Declan's Kilmacthomas community school in the final, booking their spot in the All-Ireland semi.
