The 2023 Munster Junior B Club Football competition begins this weekend
THE 2023 Munster Junior B Club Football competition, coordinated by Knockaderry GAA, is being being hosted this year by Castletown-Ballyagran GAA Club, as the grounds in Knockaderry are currently undergoing major refurbishment.
The first quarter-final will take place this Sunday Afternoon, January 21 in Ballyagran, as Limerick's Ballylanders take on Shannon Rovers, of Tipperary, with throw in at 2 pm.
For those attending the game, the eircode for Castletown Ballyagran GAA Club grounds is V35 AK82.
This year, all six Munster counties, Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford, are represented in the competition.
There will be two quarter-finals, followed by two semi-finals and then the final.
The draw and dates for the competition has now been made and are as follows:-
Quarter-Final 1
Sunday, January 21 at 2:00pm – ETIN, Finish on the Day
Ballylanders (Limerick) v Shannon Rovers (Tipperary)
Quarter-Final 2
Sunday, January 28 at 2:00pm – ETIN, Finish on the Day
St Oliver Plunketts (Cork) v Erins Own (Waterford)
Semi-Final 1
Sunday, February 4 at 12:30pm – ETIN, Finish on the Day
Kilmihil (Clare) v Winners of Ballylanders (Limerick)/Shannon Rovers (Tipperary)
Semi-Final 2
Sunday, February 11 at 2:00pm – ETIN, Finish on the Day
Lispole (Kerry) v Winners of St. Oliver Plunketts (Cork) / Erins Own (Waterford)
Final – Sunday 18/25 February – Replay if required.

Entrance fee for supporters for all games is €10, which includes match programme.
