THE semi-final fixtures have been announced for the 3Dental Limerick Ladies football championships.

All the semi-finals of each grade will take place this Sunday, September 24 at various venues. 

Monagea, who were unlucky to not qualify directly for the semi-finals, will now face Oola after they topped group two of the senior campaign. 

The two teams will battle for a spot in the senior final at 1:30pm on Sunday in Clarina. 

In the second semi-final Ballylanders, winners of group one, will face St. Aibles at 4:30pm in Cappamore. 

Murroe-Boher will face Knockainey in the first of the Intermediate semi-finals at 12pm in Cappamore this Sunday followed by Mungret St.Pauls against Galtee Gaels at 4:30pm in Knocklong. 

The quarter-finals of the championship took place over the weekend with senior title holders, Monagea, winning in a dramatic fashion with a one point victory over Dromcollogher/Broadford in a game that ended on a scoreline of 1-8 to 1-7. 

St. Ailbes, who have looked impressive throughout the championship, had a comprehensive 4-7 to 1-8 victory over Old Mill.

Elsewhere, in the intermediate quarter-finals, Mungret St Pauls booked their spot in the next stage after beating Fr. Caseys 1-8 to 0-8. 

St Brigids were no match for Murroe Boher in their quarter-final with Murroe winning out on a scoreline of 4-11 to 2-12.
