THE pairings for the quarter-final stages of the Limerick ladies football championship have been conformed.

After winning their relegation play-off earlier in the week against Feohanagh/Castlemahon, who are now relegated to Intermediate ranks for next season, Dromgollogher/Broadford have booked their place in the next round of the championship.

They will face stiff competition against senior title holders, Monagea in Raheehnagh, while Old Mill will play St. Ailbes in Mungret.

Both Ballylanders and Oola have finished top of their respective groups in the senior ranks and go straight through to the semi-finals.

The two senior quarter-finals will kick off at 4.30pm this Sunday, September 17.

In the intermediate competition, Fr.Casey's faced Adare in the play-off game where Adare lost out by six points to be relegated to junior A grade for next year.

This win for Casey's sees them face Mungret St.Pauls in Askeaton at 4:30pm this Sunday while St.Brigids take on Murroe Boher in Cappamore at 5:30pm.

In the junior A championship, Ahane will play off against Gerald Griffins, with Athea facing St.Ailbes with both matches throwing-in at 11am on Sunday.
