LIMERICK senior hurlers played their first home fixture in the round robin phase of this year's Munster senior hurling championship when great rivals Clare visited the TUS Gaelic Grounds on Saturday night.
An epic clash ended in a dramatic one point victory for Clare on a 1-24 to 2-20 scoreline in front of more than 30,000 spectators.
Limerick return to action, following their first championship defeat since 2019, when facing Tipperary in a crucial third round fixture at FBD Semple Stadium, Thurles on Sunday, May 21 at 4pm.
