LIMERICK colleges TUS Midwest and UL played out an entertaining Donaghy Cup Final yesterday and it was the Moylish college that earned a 3-12 to 0-14 victory at the University of Galway Connacht GAA Air Dome.
TUS Midwest had plenty of Limerick representation on their winning side with Iris Kenneally (Old Mill), Ella Whelan (Monagea), Aoife Corbett (Monagea), Joanne Foley (Adare), Chloe Fitzgibbon (Feohanagh-Castlemahon) and Lauren Meyenberg (Dromcolloger-Broadford) all part of their setup.
It caps off a fantastic week for Kenneally after her two goals at the weekend ensured Limerick beat Derry and earned a spot in the LIDL LGFA League Division 4 semi-final.
