Jamie Wall, who managed Mary Immaculate College to the 2017 Fitzgibbon Cup title
MARY Immaculate College open their 2023 Fitzgibbon Cup campaign this evening when they make the trip to face SETU Carlow.
The South Circular Road college again managed by Cork's Jamie Wall this season. MIC failed to get out of their four team group last year after defeats to UCC, finalists NUIG and a draw with UCD.
There is one Limerick representative in Wall's 35-man panel, Patrickswell's Jason Gillane. There is also plenty of inter-county players at Wall's disposal, namely: Diarmuid Ryan, Shane Meehan (both Clare) and Waterford's Carthach Daly.
MIC are in a three-team group along with SETU Carlow and DCU Dochas Eireann. Their game in Carlow has a 7:45pm throw-in and MIC host DCU at their own grounds on Wednesday, January 25 at 2pm.
