Thirty acres at Foxhall, Newport is up for auction on Wednesday, July 31
THE SUMMER time is traditionally when auctioneers’ gavels gather dust but it is like the springtime at the moment.
John Shaw Auctioneers oversaw the auction of a prime 54-acre residential roadside farm Rathmore North and South, Meanus in the Woodlands House Hotel on Friday, July 19 .
At 3pm last Thursday, July 25, GVM’s Tom Crosse and John O’Connell presided over the auction of a 36.5acre holding at Camas, Bruff (pictured below). It took place online and in GVM’s Limerick city auction rooms in Glentworth Street.

This parcel of excellent quality land enjoys extensive road frontage which may have possible site potential given its proximity to local amenities. The land also adjoins the Morning Star River.
There is a well maintained yard incorporating a three bay open machinery shed and two bay cattle shed with lean- to.
“The land is generally excellent in quality, ideal for beef, equestrian or dairy farming. It is also an excellent investment opportunity given the very strong and central location,” said Mr Crosse.
