The Pakman awards are widely recognised as one of the most prestigious accolades in the environmental sector.

Winners are awarded for demonstrating their commitment to sustainability and environmental efforts.

Zoë Kavanagh, CEO of Repak, said: “Over the past decade, we have received thousands of applications dedicated to promoting best practices in recycling and waste management.

“Their achievements and innovative approaches have continually impressed us.

“We eagerly anticipate this year’s entries and look forward to showcasing the remarkable efforts of businesses, community groups, and individuals across the country.”

Last year saw the introduction of the first individual Pakman Award, ESG Leader, which was won by Sian Young from Britvic for her individual contributions to recycling and waste management.

Entrants are invited to submit examples of their environmental efforts from the past twelve months.

Winners will be announced at this year’s award ceremony, which will be held on October 24 at The Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin.
