Deaths in Limerick - October 28, 2018

The death has occurred of Charlie Bresnihan, of Rylands, Ballingarry, Limerick and Rathkeale, Limerick

Adare and District nursing home, Croagh and Court Villas, Rathkeale, peacefully, at University Hospital Limerick. Beloved brother of the late Hannah, Sean, Denis, Julia and Danny. He is survived by his sisters Mai, Elizabeth, Dorothy and Margaret, sister-in-law Biddy, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his late sister Hannah O'Keeffe's residence, Knight Street, Ballingarry, on Monday, October 29, from 5pm until 7pm, arriving at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballingarry, at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday, October 30th, at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

 

The death has occurred of Christopher (Christy) Campion, of Griffith Avenue, Ballinacurra Weston, Limerick

Died peacefully. Regretted by his brother Tony, sisters Majella and Mary, children Shane, Nicole, Leanne and Andrea, extended family and friends. May he rest in peace. Reposing at Griffith Avenue this Monday evening from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm. Removal to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Childers Road on Tuesday for Requiem Mass at 11.00am followed by cremation service at 1.00pm in Shannon Crematorium.

 

The death has occurred of John Geary, from Kilmeedy

Predeceased by his sister Marie. Beloved husband of Tess, father of Elaine, Niamh, Grainne, John and Marie. He will be sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law Rod and Donal, Grainne's partner Michael, grandchildren Ciara, Sophie, David, Edith, Conor and Peter, brothers Jim and Brian, sisters Teresa, Celia and Irene, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Reposing at his home this Sunday October 28 from 2pm -5pm. Arriving at St. Ita's Church, Kilmeedy on Monday 29th for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St. Ita's cemetery Kilmeedy.

 

The death has occurred of Margaret (Maggie) Nolan (née Mulcahy), of Ballyduhig, Broadford, Limerick

Late of Garravane, Mountcollins, in her 94th year at University Hospital Limerick.

Wife of the late Michael.

Beloved mother of Nonie (O'Sullivan), Paud, Michael and J.J. Deeply mourned by her loving family, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchild, sister Nellie Curtin, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace

Reposing at Sextons' Funeral Home, Broadford on Sunday from 6pm with removal at 8pm to St. Ita's Church, Raheenagh. Requiem Mass on Monday at 12.30pm. Burial afterwards in Killeedy Cemetery.

 

The death has occurred of Finbarr O’Donnell, or Tobermurry, Pallaskenry, Limerick and Portnoo, Donegal

On October 26, 2018. After a short illness. Beloved husband of Anne (née Hillary). Sadly missed by his son Eunan, daughters Aileen and Hilary, grandchildren Paul, Siubhán, Delilah, Ailbhe, Joe, Belle and Woody, daughter-in-law Mary, sons-in-law Simon and David, brother Peader and sister Mary Claire, sisters-in-law Marella, Colleen, Anne (Letterkenny), nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours, friends and valued customers.

Reposing at his home on Sunday 28th from 5pm-8pm. Removal on Monday 29th to St Mary’s Church, Pallaskenry for 12 midday Mass, followed by cremation at Shannon Crematorium at 2:30. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Milford Hospice.

 

The death has occurred of Michael O’Mara, of Lower Coonagh, Ennis Road, Limerick

Passed away on 26th October 2018. Very deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary, children Michelle, Brian, Louise & Stephen, grandchildren Rebecca, Elysha, Evan & Aoibheann, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, partners, brothers, sisters, other relatives and friends.

The death has occurred of Maureen O'Sullivan, of Lisnamuc, Croagh, Limerick

Maureen in her 98th year deeply regretted by her great friend Margaret, brother Pat, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, Grand nephews, relatives and friends. RIP

Reposing at Magner’s Funeral home Rathkeale on Sunday, October 28, from 6pm. Followed by removal to St John the Baptist Church Croagh. Requiem Mass on Monday at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in St. Mary's cemetery Rathkeale.

 

The death has occurred of Matthew Noel Whelan, of Gardenhill, Castleconnell, Limerick / Lixnaw, Kerry

Whelan, Matthew Noel, (retired Garda) of Gardenhill, Castleconnell Co. Limerick eircode V94 Y2DD and formerly of Listowel, Co.Kerry who passed away peacefully at Milford Hospice on October 26, 2018

Predeceased by grandsons Séan and Kevin, deeply regretted and sadly missed by loving and devoted wife Eileen, son Eamon, daughters Siobhán Kennedy (Birdhill), Eileen Malone (Dublin) ,Eithne Mullen (Dublin), brothers Michael and John , sister Breda, daughter in law Mairéad, sons in law Paraic, Michael and Michael, grandchildren Oran, Aoife ,Dara, Oscar, Ailín, Oisín and Ultan, sister in law, brothers in law, nieces,. nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Family flowers only please. Donations (if wished) in lieu to Milford Hospice.
