Deaths in Limerick - April 28, 2018

The death has occurred (peacefully at UHL) of Mairead O’Callaghan (née Hogan) of Curraglass, Newtownshandrum, County Cork. Late of Bruree, Limerick.

Beloved wife of Donogh and dear foster mother of Michael and Denis. Deeply regretted by her loving husband, foster children, brothers Hugh and Michael, sisters Mary, Anne and Eileen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Hawe's funeral home on Sunday evening from 5.30pm with removal at 8pm to St Joseph's Church, Newtown.

Requiem Mass on Monday at 12.30pm with burial  afterwards to Bruree new cemetery.

 

The death has occurred of Thomas Byrne of Sarsfield Park, Rosbrien, Limerick. Late of Beechgrove, Ballinacurra Weston.

Survived by sons, daughter; sisters Margaret and Theresa; brothers Mike and Patrick, nieces, nephews, all other relatives and friends.

Reposing at Cross' Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street on Sunday from 5pm to 6.30pm followed by Removal to St. Joseph's Church, O'Connell Avenue.

Requiem Mass on Monday at 11:30am with cremation afterwards in Shannon Crematorium.

 

The death has occurred (peacefully at St Ita’s Hospital) of Elizabeth (Betty) Flaherty (née Colbert) of Churchtown Road, Newcastle West, County Limerick.

Wife of the late Michael. Regretted by loving daughters Deirdre and Marita, sisters, sons in law, grandchildren, brother in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Riedy's funeral home, Newcastle West this Saturday between 6pm and 8pm arriving at Newcastle West church at 8.30pm.

Requiem Mass on Sunday at 12pm with burial is in Calvary Cemetery.

 

The death has occurred (peacefully at Milford Care Centre) of Mary Keogh of Woodlawn Park, Ballysimon Road, Limerick.

Sadly missed by her loving husband Michael; children Enda, Susan, Paul, Keith, Cathy, Kieran and John, her adored 11 grandchildren, sisters, brothers, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Cross's Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street on Sunday from 3.30pm with removal at 5pm to St. John's Cathedral.

Requiem Mass on Monday (April 30) at 11am with cremation afterwards at Shannon Crematorium.

Beloved husband of Nellie and dear father of Eamonn, John, Brendan, Mairead, Martin and Pat.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife, sons, daughter, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his home this Saturday evening from 5pm to 8pm.

Reception into St. Michael's Church, Ballyagran on Sunday for Funeral Mass at 12.30pm with burial afterwards to Colmanswell Cemetery.
