Deaths in Limerick - April 25, 2018

The death has occurred of Dan (Daniel) Lenihan, Castleknock, Dublin and late of Barna, Newcastle West, suddenly in the Mater Hospital, Dublin. 

Survived by wife Marian, son Daniel, daughter Caroline, brothers Bernard and Pat, sisters Breda, Ann and Marian, daughter-in-law Norma, son-in-law Didier, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at the family home in Barna, Newcastle West on Thursday 26th April from 4pm to 8pm. Arriving at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Newcastle West on Friday 27th April for 11.30am Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in St David's Cemetery, Churchtown, Newcastle West.

The death has occurred of Edel O'Brien, Tenekilla, Bahillyhill.

Sadly missed by her loving Parents Den and Gertie (nee Trant) longtime boyfriend Timmy, uncle, aunts, cousins, godson, relatives, friends and kind neighbours.

Reposing at her family home on Saturday evening from 4pm to 8pm. Requiem Mass in Ballyhahill Church on Sunday at 1pm. Burial afterwards in Kilfergus Cemetery, Glin. House private outside reposing times. Family flowers only.

The death has occurred of Martin O'Grady, Burma Road, Strandhill, Sligo and formerly of Caherline, Caherconlish, County LImerick, peacefully in the loving care of the staff at St. John’s Community Hospital, Sligo. 

Dearly loved husband of Noreen and father of Deirdre, Martin, Maurice, Stanley, Eamon, Denis and David. Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, brothers Stanley and Michael, sisters Breda and Madeline, in-laws, grandchildren, greatgrandchild, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Feehily’s Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo from 5.30pm on Thursday April 26th. Removal at 7.00pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Strandhill arriving at 7.30pm. Mass of the Resurrection at 10.00am on Friday April 27th. Burial follows in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Scarden, Strandhill Road, Sligo. House private please. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to St. John’s Hospital Patient Comfort Fund c/o Seán Feehily Funeral Services, Feehily’s Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo.

The death has occurred of An tAthair Peadar De Burca, St. Paul`s Nursing Home, Dooradoyle and former Parish Priest of Feenagh-Kilmeedy, peacefully at St. John's Hospital.

Deeply regretted by his cousins, the Bishop and Priests of the Diocese of Limerick, former parishioners and many friends.

Reposing in the Chapel of St. Paul's Nursing Home, Dooradoyle on Wednesday April 25th., from 6pm until 8pm. Reposing in St. Ita's Church, Feenagh on Thursday April 26th., from 4pm until 8pm. Concelebrated Requiem Mass on Friday April 27th., in St. Ita's Church, Feenagh at 12 o clock followed by burial afterwards in Kilmeedy Church Grounds.
