Deaths in Limerick - March 28, 2018

THE death has occurred of Rita Foley (née Halvey), Lelia Place, Clare Street, late of Hyde Road and the Royal George Hotel, peacefully at home. 

Beloved wife of the late Tom (Tommy). Deeply loved mother of Thomas, Michelle and Kenneth. Deeply missed by her nephews and nieces, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Sunday from 5.00pm to 7pm. Removal to St John’s Cathedral on Monday for Requiem mass at 11.15am with burial afterwards in Mount St. Oliver Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Noreen Foley, Lansdowne Park, Ennis Road, peacefully in the tender care of Riverdale House Nursing Home.

Very deeply regretted by her brothers Pat, Dan and William, sisters Theresa, Betty, Kathleen and Eileen, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, carers in both Lansdowne Park and Riverdale House and friends. Funeral arrangements later.

The death has occurred of Bridget (Bridie) O'Halloran, Gortroe, Newcastle West, peacefully at University Hospital Kerry. 

Much loved wife of Mossie. Devoted mother of Geraldine, Stephen and Adrian. Deeply regretted by her sisters, grandchildren, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Riedy’s Funeral Home, Newcastle West Thursday, 29th March, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm. Arriving at Newcastle West Church for 7pm. Funeral Service on Good Friday at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in the new cemetery, Templeglantine.

The death has occurred of Patrick (Pa) Smyth, Farnane, Cappamore, peacefully at home in his 99th year, surrounded by his loving family. 

Dear father of Mylie, recently deceased. Pre-deceased by his sister Nora (Gilmartin), son-in-law Joe and nephew Liam. Beloved husband for 65 years of Mai (nee Collins) and dear father of Mary (Bourke), Ann, John, Noel, Noreen (Nash), Bernie (Power), Pauline (Campbell). He will be very sadly missed by his family, sons in law John, Eamon and Eddie, brother in law Liam, nephew John, nieces Ann, Pauline, Edel, his 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, cousins and relatives, his excellent carers, great neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Lynch Kelly Funeral Home, Cappamore on Friday (March 30th) from 6pm with removal at 8pm to St Michael’s Church, Cappamore. Mass of the Lord's Resurrection on Easter Sunday (April 1st) at 11.00 am followed by burial in Ballinure Cemetery.
